Where we live. All the conveniences of urban living in an extremely walkable and bikeable package. Restaurants and bars everywhere. Plenty of apartments available, but noise is usually an issue. Excellent bus connections, no car needed for daily life.

Annecy Old Town

Picturesque and charming, but also the epicenter of over-tourism. Great for those looking for a second home to rent out most of the year. Impossible to own a car here. Restaurants and bars everywhere, but with tourist prices.

⭐️ – Great to visit, not to live.

Cran Gevrier

A quieter residential area, still close and well-connected to downtown Annecy. Can be hit-or-miss with some nice areas and some rundown areas. Not many restaurants or bars.

Romains

All the perks of the city center, but a bit quieter. Still very well-connected with plenty of shopping and dining around.

Sevrier

Relying on the bus opens up Seynod, Poisy, and Pringy. All these neighborhoods are served by frequent bus lines, the Lignes Rythmo.
